A lot of 34 Vintage Glass Ornaments from an Estate. 24 of the ornaments are in a Woolworth ornament box. Most of these bulbs are 2 1/4″ in size. I think 3 of them may be slightly larger as they do not fit as well in the box. Those three are unmarked. 13 of these bulbs in the Woolworth box are actually marked as being Shiny Brite. 6 are just marked with Made in USA. A few don’t have any markings at all that indicate manufacturing company or place although 2 of the unmarked ones have distinctive, decorative caps. There are another 10 bulbs that were not in the Woolworth box. Of those, 5 are marked Shiny Brite, one is marked Japan, two are not marked at all (one of these is missing the cap) and two are marked Poland. The ornaments in the Woolworth Box are all solid colors one except which is striped. There is a mixture of red, blue, gold and silver. The shades are a bit different and many of these have discoloration and spots where the finish is either faded, darkened or missing. These all have caps and hooks. The striped one is silver with a thicker blue stripe and narrow yellow and red stripes. The striped one is one of the Shiny Brite ornaments in the box. The two Poland bulbs are close in size to the ones in the Woolworth box. Both are gold colored and one has stars on it and the other has white glittery stripes. Both have some discoloration. Only one has a hook. One is marked Japan. It is tiny–maybe 1/2″ in size. Solid gold color. Some discoloration. There are 5 marked Shiny Brite. These are also probably 2 1/4″ except one which looks to be about 1 1/4″. Three are striped–one is silver with thick red stripes and narrrower white stripes, one is a hot pink with one thick white stripe, one narrow yellow stripe and one narrow blue stripe and the last of the three is silver with narrow white stripes. The fourth one is silver and hot pink and is teardrop shaped with an indent. The fifth one smaller one is blue. These all have some discoloration. There is a smaller, pinkish-red solid bulb that has a cap, but no hook and no markings. It is a dark pink–almost red in color. It measures about 1 1/4″ in size–same size as the blue Shiny Brite ornament above. It has some scratches and missing finish. The last bulb is missing the cap so not marked. It is the largest of the bulbs–probably 2 1/2″. it is silverish gold color with a white design–shooting star and a moon and a bunch of dots. It is missing some of the finish and has a lot of discoloration in the area where the cap is missing. There is also something down inside the ball–looks like a small piece of wood–possibly used to hang the bulb since the cap is missing.
