They are 100% compatible. Sony didn’t change any of these plastic components between revisions. So, anything you see that says BDM-030 is really BDM-030+. The only difference is that the back shell will have an FCC ID that technically isn’t a BDM-040 FCC ID. We don’t typically check the FCC ID on the back shell before sending the parts out. If you absolutely have to have a “040” back shell just message us before buying and we’ll let you know if we have one in the color you need. How Much Does the Full Kit Cost?The listing tells you.
