Ronald Reagan White House Issue VIP Gift Piece Of The 1934 Oval Office Floor An extremely rare VIP gift from President Ronald Reagan. A fragment of cork which was part of the oval office floor since 1934.This fragment was in the oval office since the presidencies of Franklin Roosevelt Harry S Truman John F Kennedy Lyndon B Johnson and Richard Nixon. The piece of oval office flooring was removed in 1969 when the floor of the oval office was renovated for President Richard Nixon. The flooring is encased in Lucite and measures 3 1/2 inches by 3 inches. There’s an inscription reading “This fragment of cork was part of the floor installed in The White House oval office in 1934. The floor supported six presidents of the United States before it was removed in 1969 Ronald Reagan. The piece comes in its original presentation case featuring the presidential seal on the cover and an image of the White House with the wording “The oval office The White House” the case measures 6 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. It is almost impossible to find this item in this condition and as a complete set including the presentation case, and outer box. The Lucite has no scratches or chips, it is in excellent condition. The presentation case is in excellent condition as well with no cracking rips or blemishes. The white outer box shows some yellowing and normal aging but in good condition. This piece has not been displayed or handled very much since the term of President Ronald Reagan. This is an extremely rare piece. This is an Authentic White House issue item produced exclusively as a VIP presentation gift for the President of the United States.
