This part may fit other models not listed. Sonnax brand 10-Clutch Drum Kit 28756-01K for your GM Aluminum Powerglide transmissions 1962 and up. Increased wall thickness with no lightening holes This is a complete Sonnax brand 10-clutch drum kit with all related parts including installed PTFE-coated (Teflon) bushing, 10 .060″ frictions and 10 .060″ thick, 12-tooth Kolene® steels. This kit is optimized for GM Aluminum Powerglide performance applications. All excess material has been removed from the high-strength, cast steel drum to reduce the rotating mass. Also, the forged chromoly steel clutch hub comes with lightening holes. The kit includes a 6061 forged aluminum piston that will not crack at high operating pressures like cast pistons. Increased lockup surface allows significantly more torque than modified OE drums. Taller than the OE hub, will accept up to 10 .060″ Sonnax frictions. Patented Sonnax 10-clutch drum system, the drum and piston accept 10 frictions and 10 Kolene® steels. The drum features a piston bore that is .060″ deeper for greater piston travel.
