InstallersOnly METRA 95-5817 AFTERMARKET RADIO INSTALL DASH KIT WITH WIRE HARNESS FOR SELECT FORD VEHICLES WITH STANDARD FACTORY RADIO (NON-AMPLIFIED) Install Kits are used when Replacing the Factory Radio with an Aftermarket Radio. The Wire Harness and Antenna Adapter pictured may vary depending upon availability. They are guaranteed to work with the vehicles specified in the Compatibility Section of this listing or you can return it for a full refund. Please be sure to read the section below and the notes carefully, we try our best to let you know in advance of any compatibility issues with any radios or vehicles. SUB DASH MODIFICATIONS are REQUIRED to use this dash kit. You will need to trim the SUB DASH to gain suitable depth and height. Recently many radio manufacturers started producing a Double Din Radio with 7 inch screens (some slightly smaller). These Double Din Radios are about 7″ wide x 4″ tall. These new radios DO NOT work with Metra Radio Install Kits. Unfortunately, these kits have been manufactured well before this new size became available. As far as we know, none of the aftermarket kit manufacturers radio openings will fit this new size yet. The standard opening for Metra kits is approximately 6 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ or 173mm x 98mm. If you have one of these larger radios, you may need to SAND or FILE the opening larger. Unfortunately at this time there are no other alternatives that we know of for this new size. Once the kit is snapped in, it cannot be removed without dash panel removal. Aftermarket Kits are “NOT COMPATIBLE” with an OEM Radio or OEM Radio Swap. This Combo is “NOT COMPATIBLE” with a Premium Factory Amplified Systems. For Double DIN or Stacked ISO DIN Installations only.
