And it sounds great — its two mid-bass drivers and ribbon tweeter work together to deliver clear dialogue and solid sound effects that enhance your TV and movie viewing experience. High-tech drivers A HVFR™ (High Velocity Folded Ribbon) tweeter squeezes the air between the folds of a high-density diaphragm, rather than pushing air like a piston. That lets it maintain a wide dispersion pattern and smooth response all the way up to 35,000 Hz. The tweeter is flanked by a pair of 4-1/2″ mid/bass woofers with powerful magnet that keep their movement accurate and linear. Each woofer’s MVPP (multi-vaned phase plug) controls energy in the center of the cone and keeps distortion low. It all adds up to wide dispersion, accurate imaging, and clear, musical accuracy.
