This auction is for a vintage power transmission pulley for a live steam engine. You would hook up the metal bands from the pulley on the steam engine to one of the pulley wheels on this piece, then attach another metal band to a different wheel on this piece and attach that to your accessory. This piece was made in Germany by the Bing company, Not sure if it was pre- or post-WW2. It measures 7.5″ long and 3.25″ wide, and about 2 6/8 inches tall. The Bing grade mark is embossed into the top of the base. Base and uprights are tin; drive shaft is steel, and pulley wheels are likely aluminum. I use First Class (up to 16 oz) and Priority mail. Books ship media mail. I only charge actual postage – no added fees. I use lots of bubble wrap, peanuts, and good boxes. In a group of multiple pieces each item is wrapped individually. Original boxes or other original paper item go into a plastic bag in case you get delivery on a rainy day.
