Most exhibit a neat strike, only detracting some staining here and there, but are mostly red copper, with a few brown-red copper. The only defect noticeable is that in the 2 older pieces, often times the penny was not centered properly with the wordings on the encasements, which can partially be explained by the fact that most have die rotations, so even if you take a penny and encase it sharply centered on one side, often times, the back will look messed up if the reverse side of the penny had a rotated die, something which was pretty common back in the day. Have in mind a great deal of these pieces have not been seen in years, even on ebay, and if they do they sell over $7 – $15 each, so try to buy this lot while you can, because my stock is very limited on most styles, and once sold out they might never be seen again, and surely never at our giveaway price!!!
