He re-recorded the samesongs several times for different companies and often also for the same. He must have been reasonably popular, otherwise wouldyou have not let him record the same songs over and over again, but you do not exactly fall over his records toweekday.His Victor recordings from 1906 stayed in the catalog for almost 20 years!Apparently, Herskind sang both as a tenor and baritone at the beginning of his career, but has ended up as a tenor.Releases from The Gramophone Co. does not have a company statement in front of the record number in the discography.
