However, fully liquid contents may slowly drip or leak if the jar is turned sideways. We tested with a piece of plastic bag placed under the lid (ziplock bag thickness) and found that it does not drip or leak with it. Usage: The lids can be washed in hot tap water (up to 200F) but we do not recommend washing them in a dishwasher (or microwaving / using in hot pots) as drying cycles in some dishwashing machines are extremely hot and may warp them. Can the lids be used for baby food?The lids can be used for dry food such as cookies or cereal. The lids cannot be washed in boiling hot water (they may shrink) and, like all 3d printed materials, are permeable, which makes it hard to disinfect. They are less permeable than wood but more than metal, glass, or water-bottle type plastic. We do not recommend them for cases when sterilization or boiling-hot water washing is needed. Warranty 30 days:We will replace or refund damaged lids (cracked or shrunk / deformed due to heat) once during the 30 day window from the date of purchase.
